Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone saw eight seniors on the football team sign with collegiate programs this morning.

The Patriot faithful saw DB Isaiah Johnson, 6-2, 186, ink a pact with Georgia Tech and OL Charlie Zemko,6-4, 245 signing with the Air Force Academy while RB Rajion Neal, 5-11, 214, is headed for the University of Tennessee, where he plans to provide balance.

"I can catch out of the backfield," Neal said.  "I can be your downfield runner and also spring the big play.  I feel like I'm an all-around explosive back."

Other Patriots signing on the dotted line were DE Lacy Coleman, 6-5,235, and WR Jarrett Davis, 5-11, 165, both bound for the University of Louisville.
Other signees included WR Devon Hughes, 6-1, 185 headed for the University of Buffalo, S Cedric Byrd, 5-9, 170 going to Presbyterian College and LB Mike Spaulding, 6-0, 220 headed for Georgia Southern.

Clarence Swain of Fayette County High School signed a letter of intent to play at Morgan State University. Head coach Tommy Webb had this to say bout his former center to those in attendance:

"Swain is one of the best kids we have," Webb said. "He is a hard worker on the field and in the classroom and is a leader for his peers."

At Starr's Mill, cornerback Trenton Edwards signed with Air Force.
